POTA Catapault - Pics Request

I scored a pretty cheap POTA catapault on ebay recently. Unfortunately, it's missing...something. Something that makes it fire. I'm pretty sure it was originally a rubber band of some kind. I've never owned this piece before, and I can't find any close-up pictures of it on the internet. Can ayone show me what a complete, functioning POTA catapault looks like up close?

I think most of the original rubber bands dried up and broke off years ago on the vast majority of specimens, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Mine is mint and complete but missing the rubber band, so I can't help you with a pic. It still displays fine though, it just can't fire boulders at my astronauts.

Yea, I've owned several and even that one that I have mint in the box has a dried out, broken rubberband.

Don't get me wrong, I definitely don't need an original rubber band!

I was just trying to re-string a new rubber band so that the firing mechanism works. Theressa's picture did the trick, and now I'm flinging litle plastic rocks all over the place. My cats are very grateful.
