I was under the impression that early vintage T2 Mad Monsters had unique hands (ie, Wolfman's are hairy & clawed), but later Lion Rock reissues had standard t2 hands molded in glow plastic.
Is that correct?
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.
All the Mego T2 Monsters share the same unique glow hands with spread apart fingers. No hairy Wolfman hands in type 2. The Lion Rock Monsters use the standard Mego hands in glow plastic.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
The expert you need on this is Ron (stabilio) I think he had every variation there was. As to Lion Rock Vs. Mego, I can tell you for a fact that some of the "Kitchen Sink" Aquaman figures have Glow hands that are just normal T2 Hands in glow material. All of my T2 monsters have regular T2 Hands in Glow material. I'll double check them tomorrow...but I'm pretty sure they are all normal T2 hands.
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
The only T2 monster I have is a Frankie, and he has spread out fingers, definitely different from a normal T2 hand. But like many other things Mego, I'm sure variations abound.
In my opinion, T2 Monsters with standard Mego hands in glow are Lion Rocks. The ones with the unique spread finger hands are Megos. I have never seen T2 Wolfman hands with molded fur. They use the same hands as the other T2 Monsters.
The Lion Rock Wolfman and Frankenstein figures also share boots unique to them. Very hard to find LR Wolfmans and Franks with the correct boots.

Hmmm. I have a solid-boxed Mego Frank with standard t2 glow hands. I did not know about the "spread" variation.
Helpful info, all. I thought Charlie B. might chime in on this...the gallery info confuses me a bit in relation to my actual experience, thus this thread.
