ok so maybe I said it wrong.

Sorry if I sounded insulting, I know some Kresges are hard to get even if they are resealed. Just in my opinion I don't like reseals, I am sure your collection is very nice.
Sorry if there are any hard feelings.

perhaps then I have underestimated how hard it is to find them in their original seal.
Brent, I fully apologize I did not realize what a big deal it was to try and get them in their original condition, you must understand I am a Kresge noob.

thanks again for the info guys as well.

Here is a great example of an affordable A List character Kresge card.

Oh man! How did I miss that one...I even remember seeing it! I would have paid that for a loose mint Batgirl...much less with a Kresge card...faded or not!

          Doh!

              I had a small collection of Kresges before I sold them all off;

              1) RM Robin w/ yellow shorts
              2) RC Batman
              3) Supergirl (sold to Brian - resealed - still have this one Brian?)
              4) Mr. Myxie (resealed)
              5) Superman (resealed)
              6) Penguin
              7) Joker (resealed)

Yep I still have both of these. For a while I had your RC Batman too but I sold it because there was something I wanted more and frankly, I wanted a molded cowl Batman more. I know that's probably sacrelidge to some but I gotta be me....

For what it's worth, I've always preferred the molded cowl Batman over the RC version, too.

Molded Cowl is what I had as a kid. I never knew about RC Batman until I was 15, a ten year at a comic store I worked at told me his brother had one. I didn't believe him, so he brought it in and then wouldn't sell it to me.

It's funny, the first Megos I had were the RC Batman and RM Robin, so I've always thought of that as the perennial Megos. It bothered me to no end when, as I child, I could never find the "real" Batman and Robin once I'd lost or destroyed the first pair I had!

Hey, that's Greg's Kresge Batgirl. With that horse shoe, rabbit's foot, or whatever other good luck charm he has, it will likely sell for $8,548 or some absurd amount like that!

I feel the same way. I am now the owner of that RC Batman but if I had my choice, I would take the molded cowl Kresge. I love the piece but like you said, thats what I remember seeing as a kid so I am drawn to that more.
