Too much space. Need more toys!

As far as 8" figures, what about the One Million BC. The licensed lines have non-Mego collectors chasing them, but I'm not sure how much Mego people seek these out for anything other than customizing. (though I do have the set. low-hanging fruit )WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.Comment

I like the OMBC guys, and wouldn't mind having a cave-man or two. But they've gotta be a niche interest.
I think the most unsought-after Mego of all time was this carded Pin-Pin Mr Fantastic that some antique dealer used to bring to every outdoor flea market around where I live for several years running. The card was crumpled, and as it sat in the summer sun weekend after weekend the inside of the bubble would fill up with enough condensation to start a Sea Monkey colony, Reed's poor head was so grey it looked like stone, the limbs popped off inside of his outfit, and the card art got more and more pale and washed out as the summers went by. The guy wanted $50 or $75 for him. depending where and when you asked.
I haven't seen it the last couple of years, which is too bad because I wanted to try and get it from him for $10 or so and bring it to MegoMeet as a bad example of how to display your Megos... kind of like those melted VHS tapes that shops would display as a caution about leaving cassettes in the 700+degree heat in your car.Micronauts Collector, Historian, Consultant

With all the customizing taking place, I don't know if there is a line that is unsought.
Every line has SOMETHING in it that we can be confiscated for a Mego custom.
If I had to say for collect-ability's sake, it would be either 1 million BC, Waltons, or Our Gang.Comment

Out of the less desirable TV properties, I have to say I'd grab Our Gang figures over The Waltons...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

I don't own them, but I do have a fondness for Our Gang... Although I knew them as Little RascalsComment

When you're talking about individual Megos hanging around forever, I remember Mr. Myxlplyx and "Bones" McCoy being around until the eighties. I don't think I ever saw Happy Days or Our Gang on the pegs back in the day.Type Two: The Mego body, not the disease.Comment

I will be collecting Waltons for Walton's sake long before I spring for OMBC, Happy Days, Our Gang or other TV lines.
Just my preference.
I think the Oz & OG lines are beautiful, but OG is plagued by quality/production problems.
I love him now, but Mxy would've held no interest for me as a kid. Even Superman was a late addition to my childhood collection.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment
