Short necked Robin?

I've been using a painted mask Robin head for a project and I've noticed his neck looks shorter than my other Megos. Anybody else notice this?

I'm thinking it migh have been done on purpose, trying to make him a tad shorter than Batman.

Could it have been a f.f. robin head,dont they have a shorter neck plug?
