Why is the Original Mego Gorn figure dressed in a Klingon suit ?

Were there any other characters that wore that suit.......I have an extra Klingon suit and want to make a custom figure.....any suggestions ?

As far as Trek characters made by Mego, No. Mego POTA gorillas wore a very similar suit. An Ape General would not look out of place at all in the Klingon/Gorn suit.

^And conversely, putting a POTA suit on a Gorn is both Megoesque and individualizes him.

My Gorn wears a cuffed soldier suit with general's boots & he looks awesome!
