    Empire van question???

So I found an old empire van. Check the Pics.

So why does Mok Dinah and AJ look so tiny inside? I though empire scaled there vehicles to fit Mego scale. This looks more like Barbie scale.

PS Where are the empire vehicles posted in the museum? I looked al through the galleries and could'nt find em. IE: Spider van, Hulk Van, Chips Van etc.

    Hmmmm....

That looks about right for a Mego 8" scale vehicle. It's closer to the actual size of a camper/minibus, as opposed to the Mego ones that are about 1/2 size.

I think it looks ok. I've been wanting some of those empire van's. I really want a hulk and spiderman one and maybe the vw one too.

I remember those Empire vehicles being scaled to use with either 8" or 12" figures. The Empire Batcopter, for example, held my 8" batman and Robin with room to spare, but it was juist one big seat molded inside.

I had the Spiderman Crime Lab and the Police Rescue Helicopter as a kid. I always thought the Crime Lab was for my 8" figures and the Helicopter was for my 12" figures. As a kid, the scale seemed correct.

I think your exactly right on this. Seems like Empire was playing both sides of the action figure/ doll market. I have a 11.5 fashion doll that is accurate to the Barbies of that era. (Not the 12+ inch amazons of today) This doll fits in the van OK. Snuggly as the other pink vehicles of the era. Ya know?

I have one of those. I even made some repro stickers. I gotta find the file but if you want it you can print it out on sticker paper and fix that up a little.
