AE Peter Parker Cameras..: Where to find..?

    Hi everyone..

Perhaps a silly question, but who sells repo Mego cameras..? Or is there a AJ accessory to use..?

I've searched through a few threads and most under the search term 'camera' typically come up with gallery references.

    Thanks much,

They also appear a lot under skipper, midge, etc... but usually they'll have barbie in there somewhere like mego for 8"
Also a great source for records and cheesy guitars (I'll pick up a few more myself I'm sure.)

I'll usually search under "barbie," "vintage," and "lot." Sometimes swapping lot for "accessories" ... a lot of sellers might not list out the stuff by name. and they're easy to spot in a grab bag sale.

I'm bidding on one now for $4.. I do see those gray ones which would better suit the 70s PP, but no straps.

Besides, the larger 60s camera's more retro and cooler anyways.

Absolutely--can't be beat for the vintage feel/style. Brian tuned me into these cameras a few years ago & I was not disappointed.

Now I just need a nice PP SI head.

Yup, agreed... As you and Scott say they're retrocheesy-delicious.
In the little toy universe inside my brain, I feel that the Mego kids would have been raiding the bedrooms of their larger doll siblings to play with their stuff anyway.
...Hence I am still slowly amassing barbie LPs for a future Wolverine's Anne Murray collection.

In case you are still looking for the camera that didn't belong to Peter but is fun to dress him up with:

                            Here's one. . . .

                            and here's another.

                              Hey All
Just wanted to add some options to this.

Ok here is some I found. The one on the Mego was found in thrift store. It was mixed in with a bunch of Bratz items so I assume it too is from the Bratz line. I like it for the ZOOM lens. The camera to the figures left is actually a charm. Its made of metal and has that old camera style. Its only marking is on the bottom. It is marked "Tammy" and "Japan"

The funny thing about the camera's shown in other posts looks like a Leica M3 or M4. Which is a VERY expensive camera.
Check out my picture library of Mego-ish compatible vehicles with ID data.
