Which Planet of the apes figure is the hardest to get hold of (loose) and what is the most valuable (again loose)

Hardest to get are those with the most accessories. Urko and Ursus - often missing the knives. Soldier Apes can also be a pain getting the gloves with them. This usually reflects in the value too, although sometimes Burke and Verdon can go for as much. The Astronaut didn't feature much in the UK range so you usually end up getting him from overseas.
The variations on the soldier ape tunic colour can really push the price up too.......

Silver Soldier Ape is probably the hardest to find of all the Apes. Burgandy/Maroon Cuff General isn't as hard IMHO. I've had 4 of the Burgandy/Maroon Cuff General's over the 12 years I've been collecting. Silver Soldier Ape I've had only 1 over the 12 Years...and was lucky enough to spot it before Flynne (Derek) spotted it in NYC a few years back (Hey Derek
) Black General Cuffed outfit is also difficult...and I mean Black and not Dark Blue. Have had 2 of those over the years.

I kind of disagree with that ... In my years of collecting Ape soldiers I would have to say that the Silver Soldier comes up more often than the Burgandy cuffed ape ... The Black you can get a pretty good run at if you hit ebay UK they seem to be a plenty . I currently have around 7-8 Silver soldiers ..... but thinking about it now Maybe Berto is correct . Silver soldier complete with gloves is for sure hardest to find ....but this is just my 2 cents ..... RoyComment
