    Shazam Head Question

I recently acquired 2 Shazam mego's. One of them is in immaculate condition. No hair rubs, tight joints, cape shows almost no fraying, suit is bright, boots are nice and bright. It is all original, however upon closer inspection of the head I see no copyright or date on it. It looks identical to the other head except for that detail, and perhaps the skin tone is a bit off. Is that normal? Are there any out there with no copyright info on the heads?

It's possible that it's a Peter Parker head, check out this on the Museum site http://www.megomuseum.com/wgsh/accessory/shazam.html

Peter Parker head has blue eyes, easy giveaway on that. Could be it just wasn't stampled hard at the factory. Not unheard of by any means.

Shazam heads also came with no trademark stamped on them....I have several of them. The Parker head has blue eyes.
we had a thread discussing this discrepancy a few months ago.....can't remember what the title was though

It seems more and more Shazam heads with no trademark info are continuing to pop up.There was a thread awhile back as Nostalgiabuff stated and i started a thread a couple of years ago about a Shazam head i had.http://megomuseum.com/community/showthread.php?t=29737 That one had hair paint very similiar to PP but it had brown eyes and was a type 2 head (short neck plug).PP was on a type 1 head(long neck plug) and of course had blue eyes and the widow's peak paintjob.I found another about a month ago that had no trademark, again a type 2,so they do show up.

I had started a thread a couple of months back with a T1 Shazam head with no markings. Someone painted blue eyes on him to look like Peter Parker. I imagine there are quite a few T1 and T2 Shazam heads out there with no markings.
