How do I tell the difference?

Hey All,
I have been looking for some outfits to clothe some of my naked figures and I have been having a hard time telling the difference between original and repro parts/outfits (at least from their ebay photos). Barring the obvious things like wear, discoloration and color variation in the repros, is there a way for me to tell them from the genuine article?

take a gander at the Museum galleries. For each figure there is an 'accessory check' page. There are fairly thorough descriptions of the mass produced repro items out there.

there are not that many repro outfits out there for the WGSH, a few pop on ebay and the Doc has a few....colors are usually a little different and the fabric as well.
