In all my years of collecting mego, all 3 of them, Ive never ever seen one for sale, how rare are these? This line hasnt much love, so I would of thought, that they pop up quite frequently.It looks like a great set.

I think they're pretty tough to find but doesn't have the apeal that some of the other mego toys have. If I remember right the box is huge and there's a bunch of small parts inside that are easy to lose.

I have seen two sell on ebay in the past 3 years. They went for around $350 or so. I know the box for the farmhouse is HUGGGEEE! I have never seen the store in person, so I do not know how big it is.

It's pretty rare compaired to other playsets. The box to the Country Store is about the size of the treehouse boxes. It's one of the best playsets Mego ever made as it has so much in it. The stove, pool table and barber's chair are really cool. It's one of my favorites.

Yes they are rare and hard to find. I believe that is the last piece Maggy needs to complete her Walton's Mego set. I finally got her the house about a year ago from eBay and it is complete as the parts are all still in the sealed baggies. The box is HUGE and in very nice shape too. I then got a near mint Grampa's truck with box from here so now I need the store. (hint hint to anyone who may have a minty one for sale)


And if the Museum or any members need pictures of the house I would be more then happy to pull it out and take them.

to give you an idea of scarcity.

That price rings a bell. That's probably the other one I was watching. I wasn't really interested at the time, but decided to make a run at the next one that popped up and was surprised when it went for $350
