    FX Greatest American Hero Question...

Has anyone written up a full bio / slash how the figures came to be. Now that I have one (YAYYYYYY and thank you TROY) and have seen who all here was involved my inquiring mind wants to know more. Such as:

    1. Who did the head sculpt?

    2. Costume?

    3. Fold out card art?

and any other nugget of information I can learn. Thanks for the heads up in advance.

as I remember, this was discussed quite a bit during and after the development and even after the FX sales date. I'm not sure if it is still posted but if so, you can start by using the advanced search feature and using key words on the matter. I would think they wouldn't have been taken down yet. Lots of information in these pages.

      2. The costume was prototyped by Chris Casteel and Mike Herz and assembled by Rich Beach.
The capes and belts were produced by Mike Herz.
      3. The fold out card art was painted by me, Chris Casteel.
The figures were assembled by Doc Mego, Chris C., Rich B., Rich Levi and about 10 others I can't remember.
All the heads, bodies and body suits were produced in China by Doc Mego.
Mike Herz of FX secured the rights to produce the figure and came up with the idea to make it.

Thank you for the info! And Thank you even more for the wonderful card art. I simply LOVE this figure. All of you involved deserve a super big hug. Not from me of course, that would be awkward. But perhaps I could take requests of a preferred 'hugger". I'll see what I can do

Seriously though, what you all created in this figure is an incredible gift to the Mego community.
