My buddy had the set as a kid. I was never allowed to touch. Gene is obviously an original sculpt.
What about the 4th dude?

I never knew he was Daryl, just thought it was weird, out of all of them, he looked least like the guy he was supposed to be.
I always wanted to get on of those Captain heads because I always thought he'd make a decent TV version of Logan 5.

Me too. I always wondered why Paul was like that, but the other guys weren't.

Ace is original as far as I know.

I think so too. Actually, I think Mego nailed Ace's look, there is no way that sculpt could have been meant for anyone else. I think all around that Mego did the best job on Ace, hair, sculpt, outfit, everything.

Here's a photo from an auction some years ago by someone who converted the Mego Kiss Gene into a regular Gene with no makeup. Turned out descent. I like the custom threads too. It would be cool if someone "unmasked" Ace.
