What color were seats in original Batmobile?

I thought the seats in the Batmobile were red.

I've been seeing pics of some with blue seats.

Are those original?

Or custom made?

The Mego Batmobile seats are red, not blue.

the ones for the 3 3/4" figures has blue (Pocket and Comic action) ... the 8" batmobile has red
