That head looks very strange to me. The flesh tone seems almost like a re-paint, but the hair clearly has rubs. Also, the seller is pretty trustworthy so I doubt there's anything funny about the figure.WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better. -
yeah I don't know. there seems to be a lot of shine to the face. looks like it is painted to me as wellComment

ok heard back from greg ... it's not painted he's had other heads this color, he said superman and robin are some ... and when he said robin i remember seening a robin with a very dark head like this before. He says it's about like how the heads turn gray ... but they turn this darker color instead.
you look at the rubs under the hair paint you can see it's dark also ... something that wouldn't be done if it were a repaint.
Greg is a guy who has enough bits and pieces that come and go through his hands he wouldn't use a painted head on a figure, he wouldn't have too. He'd most likely just put any painted heads in a junk pile and sell it in a lot, or toss them out.Comment

On closer examination, check out the tips of the goatie... looks like a WAY lighter flesh tone.
Either a paint job or a degreying gone bad.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

given it could have been degraying gone bad, but I'm sure it's not a repaint. Greg might word his auctions in a mannor that could misslead someone who doesnt read his listings word for word ... but I don't think he'd sell a painted face mego without saying it was painted.Comment
