clark kent head confusion

i thought a superman head with no or very faint markings is a clark kent head end of discussion....

but i was looking through some old post and the info was getting really confusing

flat or gloss hair
squissy or firm head
mocha vs pink color

can some of you mego pros help a new guy try to sort it out?

I'm not a pro. but have picked up a bit of info from being confused myself

ok #1 rule ... Kent must be a type 1 head ... longer neck plug,

if it's the shorter type 2 plug ... for sure not Kent since there are some type 2's that could almost past for a kent head due to color and markings or lack of markings but the short plug rules it out.

the Kent heads can have faint markings or no markings but are a moca coffee ... as one member put it ... about the color of coffee with cream added.

now really soft pinker squishy head is early superman or if it has no markings Dinah Mites' boyfrined Don. both early superman and Don have a little bit more of a square look to the jaw line.

so if you have a type one head that has a coffee with cream color to it, and it has faint or no copyright ... it could be a Kent.

I have one that's a type one head with an almost coffee with cream color (mine is just a little too dark) with a slight copyright info ... but isn't a kent

not sure about gloss of hair vs. no gloss ... since I've seen some in collections that look to have more gloss than others and some look to be flat.

the one and only Alter Ego head I have is a bruce wayne and he has more of a semi gloss to his hair

yeah it was just too dark when set next to the real wayne head I have ... and from all the pictures of real kent heads it was a bit too dark .. but those darker type one heads do work good for repro kents while still being real mego
