Timeline/locations of the Bend 'n Flex releases?

I was just looking through the Bend n Flex section of the gallery and wanted to know if there was a timeline or regions they were released in the US. I loved the Bend n Flex as a kid, and never saw some of the figures in Maryland, let alone do I ever recall seeing the Villains or Super-Gals.
    It's all good!

I'm not sure about what year it was but my local Grants department store carried them in NW Jersey.

I still remember my older sister buying me a few including Cap and Shazam.

I don't remember seeing baddies or gals, but I probably just brushed over them if they did have them.

The chrouch book is wrong, they were sold from 73 to 75. Mego didn't have the license in 1972. Believe it or not mego made display boxes for them when first released, i held the super gals one, it was purty.

I have a few price tags on my carded ones, they were sold pretty widely through the chains and the independants.

From my childhood I had Superman, Batman, Robin, Aquaman, Capt. Marvel, and Spider-man. When the paint apps started coming off, I saved up and got another round of Supes, Batman, Aquaman, and Spider-man. The only one I remember seeing and passing up was Tarzan. I would have loved the 5" Mxy to go with the 8" WGSH, but just do not ever remember seeing it.

In all the years I've collected Mego I never knew this. That is something I'd love to see.
