    WGSH...Definitions please...

I was asked what characters were WGSH once. I replied that the WGSH were the ones with the WGSH logo on the package. I thought it was pretty simple. I might not be thrilled that the Western guys and Mad Monsters had the WGSH logo, and the Teen Titans and Isis don't but Mego didn't ask me as a kid what they should include or exclude for the WGSH logo.
Specifically for me, the WGSH is a small logo displayed on the packaging of some Mego figures and not on others. Your mileage may vary.

To me the WGSH are the DC and Marvel comic book characters, no others

On the same note I always thought Isis should be listed in the Museum TV Gallery for the same reasons (no WGSH logo on package)

As for the monsters...Their inclusion in the WGSH by Mego as far as LOGO goes, does this make them Universal Knockoffs or Marvel Monster Knockoffs?

To me it's all the heroes Mego released, including Isis and the Titans. I thinks it's because if you make a "For Sale" list you'd list them under WGSH and not create a separate list. But that's just me.

For me a World's Greatest Super Hero, is just that, but I include any comic book based character. As I have said many times before, I would include Zorro in the WGSH. Although the Palitoy Zorro is based on the Guy Williams TV series. Zorro the character certainly merits a close tie-in to the WGSH stable, more than say Isis, Jet Jungle and his historic roots are on par with Tarzan.
