    Zombied Thing head

Any one had a Thing head go zombie on them. I have a thing and the head is quite a bit darker than any of the others I have or have seen. It's also darker than the section of the neck plug hidden inside the body. Just wondering if anybody else has seen this.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I've seen Thing heads that turned grey. I think all of the FF had this problem.

It's not grey though. In fact it's almost better than the original color. It's a dark orange. I'd like to see a suit and body in the same color. It isn't like the Torch head turns which is lighter, almost a whitish grey. This is darker than normal. I've just never seen it with this particular figure. I'm guessing it is the zombie affect.

I've never seen a FF head become darker over time. Usually the Thing or Torch heads seem to lose color over time.

            Hmmmm....

Yeah; usually when heads zombie up they go a chalky grey.... Sounds like you got one with either a weird pigment mix in the plastic, or it was exposed/repainted/dipped in something at some point. ("Now Thing.... drown in Dr Doom's Kool-Aid of Death!!!!")

Exactly, that's why I found it odd. I actually like the new color but the suit and hands are way too light. The color seems much more comic accurate.
