I must agree, some of my Mego I have looked at and said "Oh my god, is this a prototype?" only to feel silly when I see the copywrite has been misprinted in the hair and not the neck making it virtually invisible, or some time's it appears that the copyrwrite has faded off or not printed properly.I the Monster HeroComment

The Final Word on SI/AE Head Markings
Do or do not the Secret Identity/Alternate Ego heads have the Mego trademark on the back. The Museum gallery says they do not, but I thought I remember someone here having a package one that did. Maybe it was just one character.
I ask, because I bought a few AJ figures and a T1 Supes was in the bunch. He has no markings on his neck so I was wondering...WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.Comment

Thanks Ant, but the thread does not seem very definitive. Other than Dave having a few Supes heads with very faint copyrights amd Supercrazy's Shazam, I'm still not sure if there is a general consensus among collectors. Unless the conclusion is that Mego was amazingly unpredictable.
I thought I had recalled a discussion specific to the 4 SI/AE heads that may have contradicted the Museum entree.WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.Comment
