T1 vs. T2 Astronaut

I have received a T2 Astronaut in a lot of figures: His head is not as squishy as the T1s and he is a little tanner in coloration... Are there any other known differences between the T1 and T2 Astronaut?

The head on the type 2 is distinctly different like you say. I don't think there's any specific differences other than the material used and of course body style. (no design differences). The suit may be a richer blue as well (at least it is on mine).
