    Solid Boxed Batman...

What is the ranking of the Solid Boxed 1st 4 figures released by Mego?? Where does Batman fall in terms of rare or common? Thanks for any info on this.

I believe there were 2 aquamans, 4 robins, 10 batman and 8 superman (or maybe it was 10 supes and 8 bats)...

But wasn't the Aquaman the shelf warmer while children gladly ripped open the Batman and Robin, so i keep hearing.

I think Bats is the second most common of the solids behind Superman. But that's just based on my experience with them. I'd love to own one.

I've been looking for these for a while and haqve come across Supes and Aquaman twice. I've seen a few empty Bat boxes, but only once have I seen Robin(and that was in an ebay auction that many of us saw).

I actually have money put aside if I'm ever lucky enough to come across Batman or Robin. I'm kicking myself for letting them get by me in the past.

One other question on these solid boxes...did they have inserts to keep the box sturdy...or was it just the figure in the box? And, does anyone have a pic of what the inserts may look like? Thanks guys.

There's a picture of the incredibly HTF insert in Benjamin's book,
              I believe it's page 16.

I'll have to check Bemjamin's book, but I think it was just a strip of cardboard, folded into a rectangle to create a header. Kind of like the top of the insert in window boxes.
