Question about spotting repro parts

Hey folks,
Sorry for the newbie-ish question. I'm sure there's a discussion about this somewhere on the boards, but I couldn't find it.

My question is, with so many reproduction parts running around out there, what are some good ways to tell if something is original or not?

Specifically, I'm trying to hunt down a pair of mint, original Kid Flash gloves, but before I throw myself into the deep end, I would like to know how to avoid reproductions.
