Fixing up my Nude Cispa Bill

Have had alot of time on my hands sitting at home due to knee surgery. Got to tinkering with a few things here and there. I came up with a solution to get some pants for my naked cispa bill. The pants hes wearing are some regular mego Verdon pants. I bought some Ritz color remover and a pack of Ritz whitener. Mixed a little of both together and put my Verdon Mego Pants in the mixture with some hot water. The elastic from the pants was really shot and from the treatment only got worse. I replaced the elastic and had to mimic the same factory sewing that was done years ago with the original pants. Im pretty happy with the results. Now I just have to find out how to make him a burlap vest close to what he is used to wearing. Anyhow I thought I would share so maybe one of you guys has the same Cispa Bill naked and wants a quick fix just so he wont be naked.

You've answered a question I had for a long time, if would RIT work to remove the color from their clothes... What was the mixture you used on them: 50/50?

Wouldn't a Peter Burke vest work? At least until you get something that looks even "more" Cipsa?

Very good looking figure so far...

Answer to your questions. I used a Teaspoon of Color Remover and a Teaspoon of the Ritz whitener. Boiled a cup of water for two and a half minutes in the microwave and mixed it with the water still hot. I had to do it twice because the color seems to come out the first time but leaves a filmy residue in the water and when you rinse the pants out it will have a few small spots of yellow left over from that ressidue. A second time will cure that. Im not sure on the burlap vest. Have to get one and try it.

Good cheap substitute for a part you may never find.
I'd look at a Burke vest as well.
