12" Spiderman Parkdale Novelty figure

After 10 years of owning him, I just today realized my 12" boxed spiderman is Canadian, eh. does that affect the value at all?

Most of them are, at least in the 1st ed. box.

are you saying most 12" boxed spiderman figures are Canadian? how can you tell it's a first edition box?

Yeah, most of the boxed Spider-mans are Canadian (they were issued there first). I think the only US releases were carded (both muscle body and standard bodies) plus the boxed Web-spinning Spidey. There are also some European boxed ones, but the Canadian ones are by far the most commonly seen.

The parkdale ones are easily found but the Grand Toys ones are almost never seen.
