    Need Help From experienced Folks...

Ok made 3 nice mego pickups today!...Shazam, Spidey, and mego Bat Signal( Photos below). Here are my questions.....

    1. Stamped on the neck of Shazam is "N.P.P 1973" the back of Body says "Mego Corp 1974....what does the N.P.P.1973 mean? Unless it means Not Peter Parker I have no idea... and I think this is a type 2, is it?

    2. Did all Spidey's come with red torso?

3.The bat signal did not come with battery compartment lid. Can I find one out there? Also What size batteries go in the bat signal?

Being relatively new collector I hope some of you can answer these questions...Thanks

    1. National Periodic Publications, which was the former name of DC Comics I believe (not sure tho). And yes, that's a type 2

    2. No

    3. Good luck with that, no idea where you could possibly find a cover

LOL! That's actually a pretty accurate definition because if it does have NPP it sure ain't a Parker.

        Pretty close
National Periodical Publications, Inc. to be exact.
