What glue is best to re-seal a vintage bubble to a vintage card?

I'm not sure this is the correct section for this question, but I'd like to find out what glue is best to re-seal a vintage bubble to a vintage card? I had a bubble in my display separate from the card a few years ago. Last night I got it out from the back of my display to see about fixing it and realized that it was a re-seal. Whoever did the re-seal on this card did a great job (I never noticed it before), but apparently used the wrong kind of glue!

Anyway, I want to try to re-seal it again (and maybe now I should get some clear cases for my carded Megos). Has anyone done a re-seal? What glue did you use? How well did it work? How long ago did you do the re-seal?

Thanks in advance for any help on this!!!

I use simple Elmers White glue, once dried it sticks well and unnoticeable.

Go to Walmart and get the 1/2 inch double sided Tacky Tape Brand. I use it because the card will never open again unless you rip it open just like a real mego.

I just use regular Elmers as well. it's cheap, most people have some around normally and as stated, dries clear and cannot be seen

Doesn't Elmers glue yellow over time? Like after 10 years or so?

Hey Iv been fixing a Mego box using this method it works a treat the bond is fast and very very flat , un like glue that can be a bit messy using it I was like omg what I'am I doing ... scotch tape and you can cut it to shape and use small bits for small rips
