    AJ Scramble Cycle question

I just got a scramble cycle from Lou. The wheels spin great if you hold it up off the floor. But once you put it down, the wheels won't turn, forward or back. Even touching it lightly w/ my finger causes the wheels to freeze. I've put in fresh batteries, no good. The wheels won't turn on the floor. What could be causing this, and how do I fix it?

Maybe the motor is weak? Actually now that I'm thinking about it I'll bet one of the plastic gears on the motor shaft is split and won't hold the torque when it tries to turn the axles. can you hear the motor spinning fast while it's on the ground?

Does the motor still sound, Kryto is got a good point, there is lot gear spin in mego toys , (Horses mainly)sometime the drive axels are not notched for the gear to lock on to, so the spin without garbing the drive axel.
      this sounds like the problem.
the cycles are nortourious for split & broken gears.
