was there a bunch of these found somewhere, they show up all the time mint and unfolded and they are usually reasonably priced

It was me, I found a bunch from a contact of mine. They were factory left overs he stumbled onto in "the great find" back in the 1980s.

I only really had Batman, Hulk and Spiderman. I once had two Robins but they're long gone.

No, Brad and Jeannie probably had some but they weren't the first in the door. There were a few players prior to them, but B&J were the ones smart enough to back up a truck.
