robin hood knights pirates question t1 vs t2

Were the heads different for the t1 and t2 Robin Hood line?
I have a Little John with and without painted lips. Was wondering if one of them went on a t2 body?

Are there differences like this for the Pirates and Knights as well?

    thanks in advance - rche

I have a pink lip T1 Launcelot and one nude lip T2.
    Wants, original parts; thinking...
It's the quiet ones you gotta watch!

I have noticed that they seem to follow the star trek figure style. There are type one with or without painted lips and the type twos have type 2 heads. I'm not sure about rarity among them but I as I recall, the type 2 knights and pirates are tougher to find than the type ones because they were exclusive to Europe. Someone with more facts on this can perhaps confirm on that since they were probably bigger hits over there since the characters were of european folklore (though factual or ficticious characters) but at one point it was common belief around here that type 2 knights and pirates did not exist. And further, the Long John Silver switched peg legs when going from type 1 to type 2. And that I find to be a very interesting variation.

I also note that the CTVT repops are of much less quality with cheapo rubbery heads and are repops of only type 2 bodies. Just like a xerox is to an original print, quality difference is quite notable when comparing side by side. I think it has something to do with the fact that they just don't make em like they used to.

Both of these are t1 heads, I believe. I'll have to look a little closer at the plugz. Not a ctvt head fo sho.

I am also intrigued by the leg switch on the pegleg. Thanks for the help Hobub.
