    T1 vs. T2 WGSH

Okay, so T1 is obviously the earlier body. Metal Rivets, clunkier wrists.....

but when was the transition made from T1 to T2?

are there Transitional figures?, such as partial T1, or maybe T1s with later styled accessories? I'm sure the entire figure wasn't overhauled all at once.

so, anybody able to clue me in on what variations are available?, be as specific as possible. I know one guy has a complete set of variants, loose, so I'd like to know what's what, if someone could point me in the right direction.

    Thanks!
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

I think bodies were transitioned separately from costume/accessory variations, & depended on what factories had on hand.

Sewn belts for some figs like Aquaman & Cap, for example, continued after the cica 1975 transition to t2 bodies, but were later replaced with stitched belts.

Benjamin Holcomb's WGSH book gives a detailed account of bodies & costume/accessory variations, as well as a time-line for product & packaging changes.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

okay, so I guess my question then is: "Is it possible to find a T1 Robin, with a Transluscent Belt?"

from all outward appearances, everything appears genuine, I could find no errant marks, and the shoes match up with 'real vintage mego' in the accessory check.

there is definitely no "DM" on the back of the buckle.

Yes, quite possible: the opaque canary yellow accessories for the Batman family figures were a later relase.

then I think I got a pretty good deal on my Robin.

still need gloves and an emblem but every thing else is there.
