Does anyone have any info on the Starsky and Hutch Gran Torino? I've never seen one for sale on the marketplace. I would love to get my hands on a decent loose one. Any idea on what kind of price range a decent one would go for?

"Rare" is a word that gets thrown around too easily. I don't think there are too many items that can actually be labeled rare when it comes to Mego stuff. I see plenty of them on ebay regularly. Yeah, they usually go for big bucks and of course condition is the key but I wouldn't use the "rare" word. "Not common" would be more exact.

I am a huge S&H fan and have been looking for some loose figures to make more screen accurate.
Sorry, but that Torino has got to be the worst looking vehicle for scaled action figures. It is reallly bad looking IMHO!Comment

Hey! 5% is the frequency of encounters with monsters listed as "rare" in the D&D game! Coincidence....?
Y'know; the Torino doesn't come up for sale a lot, but you see one every few months. I think it's like a lot of rare collectible items; they come up with increased frquency in waves as interest in the product is sparked by comebaks, remakes, and someone selling one for more money than expected.
