Question on Falcon HANDS

just got in 2 Falcons from seperate sales.....one looked like i would expect..

the other had Very Dark brown and possibly black paint used on face/ears...looks factory , needs a cleaning....

The other thing i noticed was that his hands were not the Typical "Ape Hands" i remember as a kid and have always seen in recent years....

Did they make him with smooth Brown "hairless hands"

I have the Holcomb book and see no real answer to this....

Possible late issue Carded version ?

falcon hands

i have recently learned through this site that a majority of the falcons were released with the "ape hands".however,late issue falcons(T2)did come with regular hands.regular hand ones seem to be a little rarer.
