And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".

I have seen nothing but those nasty blue green underwear things that always confused me as a kid. As an adult when I see vintage they are usually that or caucasian / brown T-1's.
Are we talking different figures with non blue but caucasian figures :Star Trek.
I assumed green goblin and I know Neptunian had green bodies. ?
Is Torch like spidey? just the hands are red? Brain block this morning.Comment

That's all great to know about, great information!
I had slight light brown pelvis that came from 1st T-2 Maroon General Ursus with dark brown body (factory original from U.K) few years ago.Last edited by Mr Mego; Feb 12, '11, 10:13 PM.Comment

I know I had a captian america with black ... but could have been a body swap. I have pulled a few dukes off the card ... all but one had black and the one that didn't was same flesh color as the rest of the body.Comment

my recollection is that it depends on the year produced.....figures with colored bodies - green, red, brown, had pelvis of that color. the Dark blue and lighter shade of blue were the earlier runs of T2 figures, then they started using flesh colored and finally to black with later lines like chips and dukes.....I don't remember ever opeing a figure before those last two lines that had black pelvis, except of course the CheronComment

when they went from type 1 to type 2 -the first ones i saw as a kid was a light blue, then the figures went to dark blue and finally caucasian, the dukes had black, and the others went with the color of that figures body.thats what i swa as a kid getting these figuresComment

Maybe it's a region thing too. I had a Star Trek Kirk and Spock as a kid. They had the light blue pelvis and all the Trek Mego's I found/bought locally have the same. The Batman and Robin and other superhero Mego's I had growing up all had the flesh colored or dark blue pelvis. I could'nt tell ya what year these were from. But all these were originally bought sold local to the Pennsylvania area. It was'nt until a couple weeks ago that I purchased a Chip's (Jon) Mego with a black pelvis on ebay and that came from out west.Comment

I have been buying and selling Mego bodies since '03, and most Star Trek figures have had the lighter blue pelvis, and if I was ever reassembling a Trek body, I would give it the lighter blue one.
My childhood Megos were recently found in a box, and my Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and Bones DO have the lighter blue.
My Klingon has the dark blue, but he does not have the boot legs.
I also agree that most WGSH have the dark blue, and few had flesh color. All the black pelvises that I have ever seen are from the Dukes Of Hazzard.
