Removing Dust Smell From Enterprise Bridge Set?

I got in my Bridge today, and it has a very strong dusty smell to it. I've wiped it down but the smell remains. I have it set up right next to my bed, and I have allergies so I really need to get this cleared up. I've considered spraying it with febreze or something similar, but haven't tried that yet. Any suggestions? By the way, if this is the wrong forum, my apologies, I couldn't decide where to post it.
EDIT: Just realized the figures smell like this too. Dammit. Any ideas?

You can try BOUNCE dryer sheets that have Febreeze in them.Put a few of those inside, close it up and then maybe put the whole thing in a garbage bag and throw some more sheets in the bag.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think any dryer sheets would do? I don't have any BOUNCE dryer sheets and don't really have the means to get them at the moment.

Just stuck it in a trash bag with 8 dryer sheets (5 inside, 3 out). Hopefully this goes well. If not, I'm bringing in the febreze.

Mix baking soda with a little water to make a thick paste, and use a cloth to buff the vinyl. DO NOT do it if there are ANY cracks in the vinyl... once moisture gets in there, it's almost impossible to get out. I use a circular motion (wax-on-wax-off), firm but not too hard... it isn't that abrasive, but it might vary from set to set depending on it's condition.

Just took it out of the bag and it smells great, not a hint of dusty smell (not even on the figures!). Of course, now I'll have to wait and see if the smell comes back, but hopefully it's gone for good. Thanks a lot for the suggestion, Piecemaker!
