Replacing T1 with T2 ahnds

If I were to buy a T1 Mego and remove the entire hand, could I replace it with T2?

Not easily. The wrist pin is longer and thinner on a type 2. Its not impossible, but it would be a lot of remodelling. It would be easier to use the entire type 2 arm, and just restring the figure. I've done that a few times myself, the t2 arms work fine.
