    Combing Hair?

My wife has a Bionic woman doll who's in need of a good salon visit. My wife says those doll combs are terrible and rip alot of hair out. Any suggestions on how to comb doll hair?

Also what am I doing wrong that I can't post pics? I go to the gallery and copy the direct link code and paste it in the window that pops up when I select the image icon on the tool bar

It works well for me when I was the hair with Dawn first. Get it good and soapy.

I've always wondered if the My Little Pony hair brushes my niece has would work? Those things are pretty small.

I've also had good luck with dish washing soap, Lather it up good and let it set a minute, then I took a regular comb and separated the hair into smaller sections and combed slowly those smaller sections, the smaller the sections you have the better they separate without loosing strands of hair. Once I finished, I combed all the hair together and then added regular hair conditioner and let it sit for 5-10 minutes and them rinsed it out and re-combed. This worked pretty good for me.

Yeah, I found it hard to do too! you just need the "http://megomuseum.com/mmgallery/files/1/9/3/6/octoberpics021" (no quotes)

paste that in the box from the img icon (looks like a mountain)

I don't like using plastic combs on my dolls with rooted hair. Sometimes they pull plugs out. I actually use a toothbrush. Dishwashing soap works well, as does a quick bath in mild laundry detergent, then fabric softener. While either dishsoap or fabric softener is still in the wet hair, I use a toothbrush, starting at the ends to just work out the tangles. Once the ends look good, you move higher and work on those sections. This helps keep entire plugs from being pulled out. It also works to restore the "Mego flip", by wrapping the hair around your fingers and using the toothbrush to help reposition the curls.

try typing the url inbetween image tags.

                          like this

                          [img]http://whatever.your.picture.is.yaddayadda[/img]

as long as you have the proper url, your pic should show up

                              I figured it out...

I guess when I was coping the direct link code I left off the .jpg
because it was out of the viewable box and I had to move the cursor to the right to see it.

                              Thanks for all your patience!
