    Question - Completing a Robin

I'm new here, so I apologize if there is somewhere else this topic is covered, but I was looking for opinions on the best approach to restoring an essentially "naked" Robin (painted mask). Is it cheaper to just buy a complete one? I recognize some of the parts at Dr. Mego's site, but are there complete repro outfits out there? Or should I just keep an eye on eBay for each piece?

Again, any advice would be much appreciated!

I would just wait and find the originals on ebay, they're pretty common and it'll cost you the same as the repros if not cheaper, also keep an eye on the marketplace here you might find it there also

It might be cheaper to buy a new complete one (without the emblem).

oc sells everything needed to dress a Robin: tunic w/ cape, trunks, gloves, belt, booties, & emblem would cost you about $35 w/ shipping.

Doc's stuff is usually factory-made in China & is pretty nice; see the Museum's Accessory Check to compare his repro Robin parts with originals.

I think the hardest part to completing an all original Robin is the gloves and the emblem. I need 3 sets of gloves myself. The other things are pretty easy to find. Most original Robins on ebay will have the belt and shoes.

Good point the gloves are a pain to find. I still need a few sets myself.

The gloves are a real b*tch to find. I've been needing a pair for my Aquaman for quite some time.

I got my Robin outfit from Doc Mego as well. But I didn't get the oven mitt type gloves. I got the plastic "Andorian style" instead for both Batman and Robin. I like them better. There were a few folks on here who had the emblems at one time.
