Accessory repair question...

What's the general consensus on accessory repair? Should originals be fixed or left as is? If you try and fix them, should it be with only other original pieces? TIA

depends if is a badly split boot than repairing is an option.reglueing a broken rifle , or changing leg pins from another "mego parts body".
remember the value goes down with repo accessories, as with broken and repaired parts

So if I have a Thor hammer missing its strap, its value "as is" is the same as attempting to repair it.

I'd take repaired or repro over broken or nothing any day.

that such a minor thing i would leave it the way it is.
