Did any of the members here supply the prop guys from this movie with any of
their boxed megos. Dam theirs a beautiful thing displayed an awesome captain
action ect ect then all the boxed megos god my heads spinnin a mut watch for collectors.

I heard one of the set guys is a collector. no idea if there's any truth to it. But would make sense.

I must have missed the boxed Megos. I noticed the loose Thing and Aquaman (of course), but from what I remember, most of the boxed stuff was modern, while most of the vintage stuff seemed to be loose. Of course, I didn't go through the scene frame by frame (although I was tempted to) so I may have missed some stuff.

Towards the end of the movie as they were packing up his stuff to sell on e bay hes holding in his hand a mint in box iron man also a mint captain action on display with an oscar goldman loose but mint in his so on and so on,man i wish i worked on that movie as the toy wrangler .

I think Judd Apatow is a Mego enthusiast. He makes mention of Micronauts in Freaks and Geeks and it seems like there is another Mego reference in one of his films as well.

I kind of thought it was funny that one of the plot points was that he kept Aquaman mint in the box as a kid, and later on is shown to be embracing change by letting the kids of his love interest open some of his toys. Of course he lets them open up and play with those crappy Toy Biz Spiderman/Marvel boxed figures from the nineties.

I took an MGM behind the scenes tour once and we went thru the props warehouse and I saw all kinds of stuff including some old toys tagged with what movies they had been used in
