The basic AJ came in a jumpsuit.... but I can't find any real good pics. And although I have several AJ figs, I don't have any jumpsuits! So I'm wondering; what colour were the jumpsuits? (I remember there were several different types of blue, and Amigo had a red one.) And what colour boots did he come with?

As far as I know, AJs cloth jumpsuit came in dark blue with a white stretch belt. There may be different shades of blue. He also came in a light blue nylon material jumpsuit. Not sure about the belt for this outfit. Any MIB AJs I've ever seen always came with white boots.

Not an expert, learning myself here but this is what I know.
There is a dark blue cotton one and the light blue nylon one.
I've only seen white SHORT boots and also these would not have any pinholes from being on a carded outfit (although I can't think of an outfit that had short white boots off the top of my head).
he also had a dogtag and a white stretch belt.

I'm awaiting a lot of supposedly MINT AJ jumpsuits that the seller said are cotton but these didn't appear to be dark blue so we will see what they look like when I get them. I've only seen the two shades mentioned earlier so far. I have a light blue MIB and he came with a white stretch belt.

As far as I know NONE of the boxed jumpsuit AJ's are zippered outfits. They all have a snap at the collar and a decorative button on the outside of the outfit at the snap.
The zippered jumpsuits are from:
Snowmobile suit set (ive seen two shades of blue)
Ski Patrol suit set (white)
both of these are hooded so cant be mistaken for original jumpsuits.
POTA Astronaut (blue)
Air Force suit set (light blue/gray cotton and has pockets on the legs)
I think that's all of them.
I don't know anything about Amigo.

BTW, those original jumpsuits are hard to find in nice condition. Seems like they got the hell beat out of a lot of them so not surprised you don't have one. I had about 8 of them and only two were decent enough to dress a display AJ in. A couple needed just a stitch here or there but a lot were trashed, only good for customs or repair parts.

There was also a darker shade of nylon suits in Australia and Italy.

Really? I'd have thought there'd be tons of 'em considering how many AJs were made. Funny thing; I got tons of heads, but no suits or bodies either.

The jumpsuit I have is a vinyl one and it's in good shape, except that the outer seam on one leg is frayed really bad: about a cm into the material, so it couldn't be sewn up proerly. I was gonna rip the seams and use it for a pattern to make some new ones for my growing army of nekkid AJs.

There are tons of them. I find them all the time but they are usually in poor condition, all torn, split, stained, mising emblems & snaps. There are nice ones out there but seems liek the ones I run across are usaully worn.

My boxed AJ came in the light blue jumpsuit - button/snap collar, with the white boots and belt (I believe.) He also had the dog-tag around his neck. I think my AJ also comes with some tatoo stickers - not on the figure - but for a kid to wear.

with one plastic top button in either white or dark blue
all had elastic belts with Brass colored buckel
white low boots
dog tag with AJ/mego logo in gray plastic with either red/white&blue or red & blue string.
and a set of AJ logo tatoos
