    Ever See This Falcon Head??

I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a Falcon head with a white painted neck under the chin? See this listing: MEGO FALCON 100% Original Complete WGS - eBay (item 120465595521 end time Sep-09-09 1600 PDT)

I didn't see anything about it in the gallery and can't recall it being discussed in "World's Greatest Toys."

Interesting. It doesn't look like a home job. I'm curious to see what our hawk-eyed detectives come up with.
"Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."

The falcon head I have has the brown skin color painted over a white head, the brown paint has come off some on the neck and the white base is showing through. My guess is that instead of trying to touch up the brown paint on that head, someone decided to neatly remove enough brown paint to make it look like his mask covers the neck.

I would guess the same. I will say, it looks very well done and the end result is rather nice.

Those seem like perfect explanations. Thanks. Funny that the seller notes the minor paint rub on Falcon's nose and totally glosses over the unusual neck in his description. I wonder if he purchased the Falcon in this condition and never thought about the issue.

It looks so good, is it possible that it was never painted -possibly an error during production?

I had some mailer box Falcons in College and the paint ops were all off on them. Like the mask got moved, if you look at this guy, even his ears appear off.

Now that you point it out, I do notice the ear issue.
