Bat Cave playset question

So I've found a bat cave that might be usable just for a display backdrop. One side is now flat, vinal is torn in several places. Nothing but the cave itself. The guy wants $40 for the vinal parts. Is it worth it? The cardboard looks intact, graphics still look good... Just seems a bit high to me for parts.

that seems a bit high for me too,but I really can't remember exactly what they go for on ebay

search ebay an you will find one for probally around 25 in better shape then that one.

I bought one with BIN complete in box with no rips tears complete with pole batlight (and batteries) etc. for $195. Had to have it as it was exactly like the one I got for Christmas as a lad and the timing was right. That's just me tho'.
