Help me ID this Mego-sized motorcycle

OK Mego-heads, I have a new assignment for you should you choose to accept it:

I am trying to ID the Mego-sized motorcycle that is used as the base for this:

Battlebuck: Galactica Originals

It looks like pretty much only the tires, front struts, and perhaps the exhaust pipe is from the original toy- the rest is fabricated.

The cycle would have been from 1980 or before.

I've looked at pics of Evel Knievel bike and I don't think its one of those, but I could be wrong- can't find many good pics of the relevant parts.

Could be a 1/9 model kit as well...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

And yes, I know that's Hutch riding it!!

I agree it looks pretty heavily modified. I don't recognise the parts you mention from anything. Kind of cool design though.

Hmmmm....

I think the tires and forks are from the Evel Kinevel bike. Everything else is wood.

I haven't been able to see a EK bike up close- if anyone has these and can tell me for sure, that would solve it!
