Help me with a Value for this RC Skinny Boots Batman

I have a friend who may be interested in buying this RC Batman. Bats has Skinny Boots, Purplish Stirrup Suit, and the head is in excellent condition with no bluing.

The cape is darkened like the early ones do and has a few spots on it.

The suit has some small stains around the emblem and on the leg.

    Everything is 100% original.

So, with the good and bad...

    what's he worth?

    Thanks for the help.

This isn't helping you with your question but can someone direct me to a clear pic of a side-by-side comparison of a "skinny" boot compared to a regular boot? I have no idea how to tell the difference.
    Thanks.

Everyone should familiarize themselves with the good ole Mego Museum's "Know your Removable Cowl Batman" Page:

Removable Cowl Batman: WGSH Gallery: Mego Museum

3/4 of the way down shows a difference between the skinny and regular boots.

Other than them being skinny, one of the tell-tale ways to spot them is the extra heel length.

I'd say $250-$275 in his current condition cuz it is a pink/gray suit too.
If he was clean i'd say $350-$375.

I'd imagine all the stains could be easily removed with some OXY. They're pretty light. The camera has a huge tendency to Over Contrast them. I took a quick look at the original vs the photo. I'd say the camera makes the stains look 5 times darker than they actually are.

Here's a Flash photo taken outside my light tent. This is a LOT more accurate:

Nice gloves, nice boots, clean head, original sticker. I think you could get about 3 franklins for him.

I've looked at both that pic and also at the accessory check for Batman before but neither have a nice clear, close-up pic. The RC one has "mego museum" plastered all over it and has quite a flash glare and the Acc Ck one is way too small. While I can see a slight diff in shape I can't see the heel details. I assume the extra line that runs through the heel on the common boots isn't there on the skinny boots?

I'm afraid I don't currently have the regular pair to set next to them, but here's a close-up pic of this RC Batman's Skinny Boots:

They're also more translucent than the latter pair. You can easily see the Stirrup wrapped around the foot.

According to the "Know your Removable Cowl Batman", this belt is incorrect. The original belt should have been translucent. Mine has the opaque belt.

                  Well, now you're in trouble.

That is one crazy flash on your camera. Looking at your top pic in the booth, it is certainly the bright yellow of the later belt. But that second pic looks very much translucenty to me. You got some kinda IR scantron thing going on with that one. Still a good looking RC bats with some rare accessories.

Here's the other Skinny Boots Bats in my collection. This has an actual Translucent Belt. Not only is it more see-thru, it's SHORTER..as you can see...

SEEEEERIOUSLY. Perhaps people should familiarize themselves with the Museum's CONTENT before they post.

Wait, I'm sorry. Are the MM guys failing to promote the DEEP, HIGHLY INFORMATIVE and HELPFUL (only 14 years worth of insight!) content of this site... beyond these message boards?!

Sheesh. They really suck! They are Silly!

You tell 'em, you Lazy Newbies. Tell 'em you want to be Spoon-Fed this Mego knowledge! Heaven forbid you might click INTO the site and actually read a sentence or two.

And for the record here. Answer to a question...

Rich, you are correct. That extra line that runs through the heel of a common Mego, (as well as DM and CTVT) blue Batman boot. Is NOT present in the type one rare skinny boot.

As for what you can get out of it. As much as you can, silly! But seriously Heath, clean mint ones seem to be what everyone looks for anymore, but the slightly dirty cape and suit only tell me that the thing is as old as it is and doesn't bother me a bit. I don't see any fading. Colors look bright and crisp. All I can offer is the posts in this other thread: http://megomuseum.com/community/showthread.php?t=29333 Somewhere in the center of all those ranges is a good place to start.

btw opaque, to me is ten times better than one stamped with a DM. Mego is king here, you know!

But, that one doesn't look quite as opaque as I've seen some to be.

Ah, thanks Len. I sorta remember that thread.

The belt is a weird thing. It's not quite opaque and not quite translucent, but somewhere in between. Seems to be a much more normal legth than the translucent though.

I think my mint in box painted mask Batman has one of these inbetweeny belts, not quite solid.
