Superman Stirrup costume question

I've just managed to pick up a type 1 Superman with the early stirrup costume. The only thing is it has a pretty poor emblem on it at the mo (just a paper one that someone has printed from their PC and cut out and stuck on).

My question is: Would this early type outfit have come with the over large emblem? Where's good for getting replacement emblems?

Hi Grayz,

The early stirrup suit Superman came with the normal size paper emblem and also the rarer Large S emblem. Not sure who does good repo emblems, drmego.com might have something.

Yeah, if he has red skinny boots then it would be appropriate to give him a large S emblem. And, might as well place one on his cape while you're at it

He's not got the skinny boots. Should he have them if it's a stirrup costume or did this version come with the other type too?

No emblems on the DR Mego site. Anywhere else that does em?

Dr Mego cannot sell emblems because they infringe on DC/ Marvel properties. Not sure who does...
