t1 Tarzan suit question

Hiya folks,

I picked up a Tarzan from a member here and he is suuuper clean. However, he has the whitest jumper suit I have ever seen on these guys. Lord of the underbrush as I don't think this fellow has gotten much sun.

Wondering if anyone else has seen this type of Tarzan jumper or if anyone has any input.

its probably repro, try taking it off and seeing if theres a mego tag in it.
also i have two, and they both have much larger stitching patterns, and look very much more tan.

I thought the only point of the leotard was to simulate fleshtone (skin) so why would they make a white one???? Perhaps it was bleached or was for another figure originally?

It is not completely white, but is veeerry pale. Sort of like the Ledy version, only it is Mego.

I came across a type1 Tarzan in White awhile back at a comic book store in SO CAL but i passed on him thinking the white suit was a repo, Looks like i should have snaged it
