The Love Boat

Hi, I'm hoping that someone here can help me. I have this very large Love Boat cruise ship and standard size Love Boat figures.

This is different from the Love Boat Playset that came with mini figures. I can't find this one anywhere. Is anyone familiar with it? I have lots of furniture too.

All the decals are missing and there is no makers mark or date on it.

OK, so if this thing has no kind of markings or copyright info on it, I think it's safe to assume it's not an official "Love Boat", nor made by Mego. But it still looks cool. The figures fit well with it, and to be honest, it looks much better and sturdier than what Mego came up with.

I did at first too. But I checked the galleries and saw that this is the actual Mego (Grand Toys) one:

Actually the furniture is all the same size and fits perfectly. I think the Mego one in the Mego Museum comes with the mini figures, right? This would fit the actual Mego figures.

It has the rooms of the Love Boat, including a heart shaped pool / spa on the top deck. It has the doctor's office and even an elevator.

Do you think another company made it to look like the Love Boat?

Last question, it's too big for me to keep. My kids were playing with it but now lost interest and it's time to get rid of it. What should I do with it? eBay? Live Toy Auction? Any other suggestions?

I found it! It's not the Love Boat, it's the Glamour Gals Ocean Queen Cruise Ship by Kenner. The person I got it from had it with the Love Boat figures, so I thought it might be a version of the Love Boat.

Thanks for all your help and if anyone wants to buy it let me know, I need to get rid of it, it's too big for my small house!!

my daughter accually has some of the dolls

but I have a feeling that if she got the boat it would be over run by her Wonder Woman & She-Ra figures
