How scarce is the Mego foreign-issue Tex Willer?

No , I'm just kidding I realy dont know. I paid $10 for mine loose and missing all clothes from the waist down about 10 years ago at an antique store.

Tex is by far the scarcest out of the line of four Willer figures. According to the Museum scarcity index, he's right at the top along with Zorro, Red haired Dracula and blue haired Frankenstein. So that's pretty scarce!

You don't run across any figures from the Tex Willer line every day. Loose they tend to go for around $200 except for Tex who tends to go toward $400-$500. However, that price would be much higher based on rarity of the figures were in demand by more collectors. A Trek Romulan goes for higher than most Willer figures, and is WAY more common.Comment

This sat on ebay for a few months before the Musuem threads started. I hope someone here got them and not for a flip. Not a bad price for the two. However the gunbelts should be Wyatt Erp not AJ. I have these or I would have gone for them myself.
And in case anyone is wondering....
No, that is not just a Bruce Wayne and a POTA Astronaut head. It is like asking is a Peter Parker head just a Shazam head. (or about the other SI's for that matter if they have the mocha color shift). The face paint is completely different if you compare them side by side. Biggest difference is the eyebrows and the shapes of the eyes. They have no white dots in the pupil and Tex's hair is brown.
If you don't have them to compare in person, what a good reason to go to Megomeet. I'm sure Dave could schedule some kind of comparison viewing. Fellow 40 somethings should start bringing their magnifying glass and/or bifocals to events such as this.

Tex's hair is brown? Interesting.
